Master the Art of Ice Fishing

On the thick ice that covers Lake Nosbonsing every year, shacks appear along the horizon filled with anglers and fishing lovers ready to try their luck. The start date for ice fishing is weather-dependant, but by the end of December or within the first week of January, the fishing can begin.

Fully-equipped and propane-heated, each ice fishing shack is created for your enjoyment, and are just a short walking distance from the cottages! We offer ice fishing shacks designed for 4, 6 or 8 people. Huts can be rented for the day if you are daytripping, for multiple days, or for the week! Stay in one of our cottages or rent nearby if you'd like- you'll be able to be on the lake first thing in the morning! If you would like to stay the night, we offer a two night minimum for ice fishing guests.

Perch, pickerel and pike are the most common catches that can be found beneath the icy surface. Rent the shacks by the day, or by the week, and our team will ensure you are ready to go!
