Cancellation & Other Policies
Our Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations less than 120 days of your reservation date will result in a forfeit of your deposit. Cancellations within less than 30 days of your reservation date will require payment in full (unless we can get someone from the waitlist to take your spot, or you can get someone to take over your reservation)

Why do we have a Cancellation Policy?
We are a seasonal business with a limited number of cottages and boats. When you book with us, we block off those dates just for you and often turn people away who want the same dates.
We start preparing for the season well in advance—cleaning, scheduling staff, preparing the property, and completing upgrades and improvements.
Cancellations—especially on short notice—can cost us time and money that we can’t recover.
That’s why:
- If you cancel within 120 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
- If you cancel within 30 days, the full amount is due.

Our Other Policies
Boat Rental Policies:
- We have “in-camp” rates for people who also book a cottage, and “out of camp” rates for those only booking boats.
- There is a 40-50% deposit to secure your booking (dependant on whether you are an in-camp or out of camp renter)
- We require you to provide a credit card at time of booking to complete your reservation. This will be added to your account and will be used as method of payment for your deposit, your final payment, a damage deposit for a boat rental, and/or to comply with our cancellation policy.
- Starting the day of your rental, we will place a damage deposit hold on your credit card for $500. This will be removed once the boat is inspected and cleared for damage
- You must provide a copy of a valid boater’s licence, and sign and accept our Boat Rental Agreement in advance of your reservation
- We love all animals, though we have a NO PETS POLICY on our boats.
Cottage Rental Policies:
- We require a 40% deposit up front to secure your reservation
- We require you to provide a valid credit card to secure your reservation. This will be added to your account and will be used as method of payment for your deposit, your final payment, and/or to comply with our cancellation policy.
- We only book Saturday to Saturday rentals during the summer season, which is the 3rd week of June to the Saturday before Labour Day
- During the spring and fall months, we require a 2-night minimum stay, except for long weekends which is a 3-night minimum stay.
- Check in time is 4pm or later - Check out time is 9:30am or earlier.
- Inviting outside guests to visit you for the day - We have a max customer capacity on the property (Based on our max occupancy per cottage). Please inform us if you would like to invite guests to visit as we will need to approve based on occupancy, and there may be an extra occupancy charge for you.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages or near the gas tank. All cigarette butts must be put out safely using the containers provided outside on the decks and at the beach.
- We love all animals, though we have a NO PETS POLICY. We do make the odd exception for special circumstances, so please contact us if you would like to discuss your situation.
