• It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• Apart from Share your stay described below, it has no forms that send or store your details. Choosing dates on the booking form keeps them in your browser until you choose Reserve.
• The call, text and email links open your own phone or email app. Anything you send reaches us directly at (705) 752-2085 or info@cozycampcottages.com.
• Fonts and images are served from this website. Apart from the map on the Getting here page, no third-party service is contacted while you browse. Sending photos through Share your stay is described below.
• The Getting here page shows an interactive map from Google, which loads automatically when you open that page. Google then receives the page address and your browser's usual connection details, and may use its own cookies inside the map, under Google's own privacy policy. No other page loads the map. The Get directions and Open in Google Maps links open Google Maps only when you choose them.
• Ask Maverick answers in your browser from this website's published information. Your questions are not sent or stored, and leaving the page clears the conversation. Email this question opens a draft in your own email app for you to review and send.

Booking online

Reserve and the boat booking links take you to the booking pages of innRoad, the reservation system we use, with the dates you chose. There you choose your stay or boat, enter your details and pay. Card details are entered on innRoad's secure pages and never pass through this website. innRoad's own privacy terms apply there.

Sharing your photos

When you send photos through Share your stay, we receive the photos and the details you give us: your name and email address, any caption, cottage, Instagram handle and credit, and the permissions and confirmations you choose. We use them only to review your photos, share them in the ways you allowed, and handle removal requests. Your name and email address are never shown publicly.

Your photos are sent securely to private storage in Canada, with location data removed first. Nothing appears on this website or our social media until we have reviewed it. We use trusted service providers to host the site, store photos, block spam and schedule posts, and some may process data outside Canada.

Photos we select are kept, with your permissions, for as long as we use them; the rest are deleted automatically after 90 days. Sending photos does not sign you up for emails. To withdraw permission or have a photo removed, email info@cozycampcottages.com with "Photo removal request".
